Joshua Siniscalco was the male Green Monkey in the episode listed in the infobox. He almost grabbed the artifact but just missed it as time expired.
Joshua, along with Nick Borey from Henry VIII's Great Seal returned in one episode of the CW reboot to compete as the Blue Barracudas. While he was able to reach the artifact, he just missed escaping as time expired (he was right behind Olmec).

In a podcast (Splat Attack Podcast), it was revealed that Nick and Joshua were classmates when they were young.
In the same podcast, Joshua revealed some things that happened during the taping of his episode.
He claims when they were taping The Steps of Knowledge, the original winners were the Red Jaguars and Silver Snakes. However, a PA informed the teams that one of the questions that Olmec asked was answered incorrectly but was marked as correct. Because of this, they had to reshoot the Steps of Knowledge but with new questions.
Many fans believed that Joshua unfortunately lost due to a production error when the elevator in The Mine Shaft got stuck while it was on its way down. Joshua revealed that there were buttons on the elevator that made it go down. The reason why it stopped midway was because he took his hands off the buttons (which made it stop) to grab the purple robe as a last-ditch effort.
Joshua was also classmates with Zac Turney as revealed in the latter's interview. He gave some advice to him and his brother Levi before the taping of their episodes.
In both of the Temple Runs he competed in, Joshua went second.
Joshua is the only contestant to ever assemble the Silver Monkey twice.
