The proclaimed objective of the room - to hug one of the three golden idols and thrust them down -  this was never performed; every team that moved through the room simply had to hit an actuator to head to one of the adjoining rooms. Trivia This was the first of the eight rooms to feature only one artifact. The other seven were: The Room of Harmonic Convergence The Bamboo Forest The Treasure Room The Well The Lightning Room The Room of the Mandarin Hand The Laser Light Room This is the first room to have a temple run end by having the second player captured by a Temple Guard with less than a full Pendant of Life. Jennifer from John Sutter and the Map to the Lost Gold Mine was the only contestant that tried to open the door by hugging an idol. This was the first room that a half pendant can be seen in. The leftmost idol can be seen in the foliage between Olmec and the Ledges throughout the last two seasons. The central and rightmost idols can be seen at the base of the apparatuses used in the "rotating levers" Temple Game. Throughout Season 3, the rightmost idol can also be seen on top of the podium from the Tomb of the Ancient Kings in the Room of the Secret Password.
