Not to be confused with The Tomb of the Headless Kings.

The Tomb of the Ancient Kings was a room in all of Season 1. It featured six golden doors and a coffin in the center of the room. A contestant who enters must find the key inside the coffin to open the door to either the Swamp, the Spider's Lair, Bamboo Forest, Holes of Python or go up into the Shrine of the Silver Monkey or bust through the Stone Wall if it can be destroyed. This room was replaced in Season 2 by the Dark Forest.

The doors and fallen column from the Tomb of the Ancient Kings can still be seen in the background and front of the Dark Forest and have not been altered.
This room was known for having one of the contestants illegally jumping out of the temple as shown in Henry VIII's Great Seal.
King Tut's Cobra Staff was located here, in a very appropriate nod to the fact that it was an ancient pharaoh's item.
The podium next to the Stone Wall can be seen in the Room of the Secret Password throughout Season 3.
The Silver Snakes are the only team who didn't go into the Temple with the artifacts in the Tomb.
