In the center of the room, there is a large treasure chest. When contestants enter the room, they can open the chest to advance down if the door opens. If the door is not open or they choose not to go below, they could hit an actuator on either side of the room to enter the adjacent rooms. Trivia Mitchell from The Moccasins of Geronimo was the only contestant to ever proceed downwards from this room. The Golden Jaguar of Atahualpa can be seen in the back of the Treasure Room in earlier episodes before it became an artifact in its own episode.
